Interest FormWelcome to Combat Robotics at Berkeley! We provide support for teams to compete in a variety of combat robotics competitions. Some of our projects include the the 1lb, 3lb, and 15lb weight classes, and the TV show BattleBots with our 250lb robot Glitch! CRB focuses on many smaller teams, with the goal of high percentage of design decisions & involvement of each member.
CRB has no application for the 2024-25! All UC Berkeley students, regardless of major can join! Once students attend our introductory meetings at the beginning of the school year, they will become an official member of CRB.
New members will begin in a development track - where CRB provides support for members to compete in an internal 1lb competition in November. Afterwards, members may continue with their 1lb robots, and may pitch robots of higher weight classes to receive grants from the CRB leadership.

Requirements:
- Go Bears! - Students must be enrolled or accepted & committed to UC Berkeley
- Engagement - CRB expects 10+ hrs/wk for engineering subteams & 3+ hrs/wk for non-engineering subteams (excluding niche roles)
- Outreach - Members must attend outreach events each year
